Sunday, March 20, 2011 fron 2-8pm. At 2:30pm Evergreen Chorus will kick off the performances for Fran's FROGS fundraiser at Happy Jack's Pub (171 Temple Hill Rd (Rte 300), New Windsor) . All funds raised will help Fran's Family pay for trips and accommodations when they visit Fran in the hospital. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 3pm Evergreen Chorus will entertain at a noontime Lunch 'N Listen Concert at First Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 325 Mill Street in Poughkeepsie.
Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 3pm Evergreen Chorus will entertain for a 45 to 60 minute performance at Storm King Art Center in Mountainville (Cornwall) NY.
Date and Time - TBA - Evergreen Chorus will sing a "Thank You" perfomance at the Elks Lodge for about 1/2 hour. We have been using their facility for extra rehearsals and training. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 8:15 pm Evergreen Chorus hosted a "Friends and Family" night at Saint Andrew's Episcopal church. This was our dress rehearsal for the Region 15 Sweet Adelines competition in Philadelphia. Competing quartets and Evergreen chorus performed for friends and family... and the Roosevelt HS 'First Ladies' provided baked goodies!
Tuesday, March 8, 2011, Evergreen Chorus entertained at an event for International Women's Day. As the crowd reached the Highland side of the Walkway Over The Hudson, Evergreen was there to greet them with a variety of songs.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 10-12, 2010, Evergreen Chorus wrapped presents and sang at Borders on Route 9.
Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 8:00am Members of Evergreen Chorus sang a Holiday Radio Performance on Joe Daily's Morning Show on 92.1 Lite FM.
Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 4:45pm Evergreen Chorus performed a variety of Holiday songs for the Hyde Park tree lighting ceremony.
Saturday, November 6, 2010, Evergreen Chorus joined the Schaut Family and Swingin' Jive Patrol in a fund raiser for the Alzheimer's Association. The event featured a dance lesson at 6:15 pm and a dance/concert starting at 7pm.
On Saturday, October 3, 2010; Evergreen presented the 2010 Annual Show - From Soup to Nuts. This performance was held at the Elks Club located at 29 Overocker Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY and featured chapter quartets, small groups and ensembles. In addition to learning 'diner lingo', Evergreen and host, Joe Daily entertained the audience with music, skits and a 'feast' of the history of Diners. This was Evergreen Chorus' big fund raiser for the year. This year's show was dedicated to Tag Thayer - one of our Charter members, who was and will be sorely missed by each of us.
Friday night, September 24, 2010 Evergreen presented a half hour performance at the Poughkeepsie Barnes and Noble store (Route 9).
Saturday, September 18, 2010 - 1:00 pm - Evergreen Chorus performed for the St. Ursula's Alumnae Lunch which was held at Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston.
Sunday, September 12, 2010 - 3pm - Evergreen and The Newyorkers performed at a fundraiser for Saint Andrews Church. Although it was not as well attended as we would have liked, it was a wonderful concert.

Friday, July 2, 2010 - 6pm - Evergreen entertained at the Balloon Festival at Waryas Park. The balloons were unable to launch due to high winds, but Evergreen and her chapter quartets sang and danced.

Monday , June 14, 2010 - 7:15 pm - Evergreen performed at the Poughkeepsie Barnes and Noble store (Route 9). We sang in the cafe and upstairs. in a couple of different locations. If you missed it, come to our next Barnes and Noble performance on September 24th. Thank you to those who used our voucher number when you made purchases. A portion of your purchase was donated back to Evergreen Chapter of Sweet Adelines. This was the flier with our voucher number.

On Sunday September 20, 2009 - Evergreen performed at the Plattekill Days Event. The day was gorgeous and the crowd was enthusiastic. We are already scheduled for next year's event!!
On Saturday 1:15pm September 19, 2009 - Evergreen performed at Wiltwyck Golf Club in Kingston for a St. Ursula Alumnae Reunion Luncheon.
On Saturday 12:30 or 1:10pm August 1, 2009 - Evergreen climbed aboard a flatbed truck and sang their hearts out! The Event was Tivoli Day, and includd food, entertainment, and lots of family activities. Even the weather cooperated and we had a great time being part of the fun and community spirit!
On Monday 7pm, July 27, 2009, Evergreen members entertained the residents at the Manor at Woodside Senior housing facility on Academy Street. This performance was open to the public, and everyone seemed to enjoy the concert!
On Saturday 6:30-7pm July 18, 2009, Evergreen Chorus watched the belly-dancers and then performed at the Balloon Festival at Waryas Park, Poughkeepsie. Evergreen has been honored to perform at the Balloon Fest for the last few years. Watching the colorful hot air balloons launch is an awesome sight, and the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce offers lots of family-friendly music and activities along the waterfront.
Saturday 5pm June 20, 2009 - Evergreen Chorus performed at a private party in LaGrange.
Thursday, 7pm, June 18, 2009 - Evergreen performed all around Barnes and Noble, Route 9, Poughkeepsie. Starting in the cafe, Evergreen sang a 20 minute set for those eating snacks and drinking coffee. During the course of the evening, Evergreen went up to the childrens section and then to the balcony area for two additional 20 minute sets. Folks who had our voucher were able to purchase items and support Evergreen, at the same time. If you missed our performance and want to hear and support us, we will return to Barnes and Noble on November 9th at 7pm... just in time for the holidays!
Wednesday, 7pm, June 10, 2009 - Evergreen Chorus performed at Elant Nursing Home at 37 Mesier Avenue in Wappingers. This performance was rescheduled from earlier this year due to illness.
Thursday 7pm on April 30, 2009 - Evergreen Chorus joined the FDR HS First Ladies in singing at a fund raiser at Barnes and Noble on Route 9, Poughkeepsie. We always enjoy singing with this talented group of young ladies!

Friday, Saturday and Sunday March 27-28, 2009 – Evergreen Chorus and her quartets attended the Region 15 Competition 2009 in Philadelphia, PA. Quartets competed Friday evening and Choruses competed Saturday afternoon. Xclamation! took 6th place and Evergreen Chorus won fourth place overall and third place Mid-Sized Chorus awards. Tuesday December 16, 2008, Evergreen Chorus performed at the Southern Ulster Chamber of Commerce holiday celebration dinner held at the Rocking Horse Ranch in Highland, NY. Wearing sparkling holiday outfits, Evergreen Chorus and her quartets supported fellow Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce members get into the holiday spirit as we sang familiar seasonal songs. Happy Holidays Everyone!
Sunday December 7, 2008, Evergreen Chorus was honored to be the operning act at Stelle Magiche, a fabulous Christmas show with music and dance by the world renowned composer, song-writer and instrumentalist, Salvo Gutillo, the Encore Dancers and others. The performance took place at Aquinas Hall on the Mt. St. Mary College campus in Newburgh. Saturday December 6, 2008 Evergreen Chorus sang Holiday songs at the Pawling "Music by the Lake Series ". Some songs were performed a cappella and others were performed with the Big Band Sound.
Sunday November 30, 2008 at 3:00pm; Evergreen sponsored a Fund Raiser concert for Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church which was held at the church, 110 Overrocker Road, Poughkeepsie. Titled, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!, Evergreen shared the stage with men's Barbershop Quartet, Swing Shift; singing a variety of holiday and other songs. Refreshments were available and we had quite a crowd in attendance.
Sunday November 9, 2008 at 3:30pm, Evergreen presented a mini-version of Dream a Little Dream for the Tower Music Series at the Reformed Church, Hooker Ave. The performance included music like "Dream a Little Dream", "Heartache Tonight", "The Best of Times", "Fun in Just One Lifetime", and many others. In addition, the FDR High School Young Women's Acapella group, The FIRST LADIES, performed a 20 minute program of songs. We look forward to returning to the Reformed Church for another concert in the future.
Sunday October 26, 2008 Evergreen presented its 2008 Annual Show, Dream a Little Dream at FDR High School in Hyde Park. The show started at 3:00pm. With Joe Daily of 92.1 FM and guest performers, the Marist Sirens, the show was a lot of fun. If you were unable to attend, Evergreen will be performing excerpts from Dream a Little Dream at Saint Andrew's Church on November 30th.
Wedesday October 1, 2008 Lunch & Listen at First Lutheran Church on Mill Street (the westbound Route 44/55 Arterial) at the corner of Mill and Catherine Streets in City of Poughkeepsie – The performance commenced at Noon and was open to the Public. Evergreen sang for 30 - 40 minutes.
Sunday September 21, 2008 at 2:45pm - Plattekill Days in Modena. Evergreen participated in the Plattekill Days festivities and performed a selection of songs for attendees.
Saturday July 19, 2008, Evergreen Chorus and one of her quartets, After Hours, entertained at the 2008 Balloon Festival at Waryas Park with a 30 minute presentation of a cappella songs. This performance began at 6:00pm, and was open to the public free of charge.
Sunday June 29, 2008 at 2 PM - Evergreen performed at Scott & Bill's Annual Summer Party in Red Hook - We were one of the Americana features for this Independence Day celebration! The next act was Blue Grass. It was a fun time!
Tuesday June 17, 2008 Evergreen has MOVED! We now have a wonderful air conditioned rehearsal hall! Charlie North of the Greater Dutchess Chamber of Commerce, and guests, joined our celebration with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at our new rehearsal site; Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 110 Overlook Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Father Browning, of Saint Andrew's Church, looked on as Charlie North presented a framed print of the Mid Hudson Bridge to Evergreen Chorus Director, Carole Argulewicz. Thursday June 12, 2008 at 7PM, Evergreen Sweet Adelines and the First Ladies of FDR High School performed at the Poughkeepsie Barnes & Noble store, located on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. Coffee and a cappella singing were enjoyed by all!

Friday, April 4, 2008 - Evergreen was well represented by three quartets, After Hours, Under Wraps and Xclamation! - who competed in the Region 15 Sweet Adelines Quartet Competition, held in Philadelphia, PA. Evergreen is very proud to announce that Xclamation! took Third Place medals for their outstanding performance!
Tuesday, March 25, 2008 - Evergreen Chorus' Friends and Family Night was a rousing evening. Evergreen Chorus and her competing quartets enthusiastically performed for Friends and Family as part of the preparation for 2008's Region 15 competition to be held in Philadelphia. This special dress rehearsal performance previewed Evergreen's competition package as well as a selection of some musical favorites. In addition, chapter quartets, After Hours, Under Wraps and Xclamation! performed their competition songs. The audience got Evergreen psyched by clapping and cheering! This performance is free and everyone is welcome, but seating is limited, so don't be late!
Due to inclement weather on Wednesday, February 13, 2008; the - Lunch N Listen Valentine Concert - at First Lutheran Church, 325 Mill St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 had to be canceled. On Wednesday, January 30, 2008 Evergreen Chorus entertained residents at the Beacon Senior Citizen Center on 134 Mattawan Road, Beacon.
On Tuesday evening, December 18, the Evergreen Chorus was thrilled to sing for the Southern Ulster Chamber of Commerce's Annual Holiday Dinner at the Rocking Horse Ranch. Three chapter quartets shared the stage with Evergreen Chorus as we sang a variety of holiday and upbeat songs. Evergreen Chorus just joined the Southern Ulster Chamber this year and we are honored to perfporm at such an auspicious occasion.
On Monday, December 17, starting around 8:00 PM, the Evergreen Chorus performed at The Queens Gallery Soup Kitchen in Kingston. We sang a collection of songs about Santa, as well as seasonal favorites. The Queens Gallery is a non-profit organization which provides awareness, education, relief and prevention of food insecurity in America. The Queens Galley supports, creates and implements programs dedicated to the affordable nutritional education of children, families and seniors. The Evergreen Chorus was honored to perform for a room full of old and young, alike. A number of people sang along with us!
On Saturday, December 15, at Evergreen Chorus shared the joy of the season at Kevin McCurdy’s Holiday Spirit Festival on Sheafe Road in Wappingers Falls. Although our feet were frozen, our hearts were warmed as we sang at this fun event for the young and young at heart.
Due to imclement weather, Evergreen did not participate in Joe Daily’s Holiday Concert Series on Thursday, December 13, 2007.
At 7:30 AM, on Wednesday, November 21st, a group of warmly-dressed Evergreen members congregated at Hannaford's Wappingers Falls location to kick off Joe Daily's Holiday Concert series. They rehearsed in the entrance foyer of the store, then joined Joe Daily, the gingerbread man, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,and 92.1FM out in front of the store. The chill air rang with beautiful singing and everyone had a great time!
On Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 2:30 to 3:30 PM Evergreen performed at Golden Hill Health Care Center, 99 Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, NY. Residents listened, clapped and even sang along as Evergreen Chorus performed familiar and holiday songs. One of Evergreen's quartets, After Hours, also sang. .
Evergreen Chorus' 2007 Annual Show "ACAPPELLA IDOL" was presented on Saturday and Sunday, October 27 and 28 at 3PM. Guest performers were Cherished Memories, a men's a cappella do-wop ensemble, and the MC/Show host was 92.1 Lite FM's Joe Daily.
Chapter quartets had their time in the spotlight and our three judges gave feedback about all the performances. Lots of photos were taken by friends and family!
On Tuesday, September 18, 2007 Evergreen Chorus hosted an Open House at the the Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church at 2381 New Hackensack Road, Poughkeepsie, NY. Those who attended got to see Evergreen running though part of our upcoming show, A Cappella Idol. On Sunday, September 16, 2007 Evergreen Chorus performed on the stage at the Plattekill Days celebration held at Thomas Felten Community Park, on Route 32. The performance started at 3pm and included songs by Evergreen and two quartets: Good Times and Xclamation! We had quite a crowd in attendence on a picture-perfect day. On Sunday, September 9, Members of Evergreen Chorus attended Wappingers Community Day at Schlathaus Park. Athough we did not sing, members did give out information about Evergreen Chorus to organiztions who might be interested in entertainment during the holidays or other events year-round. Saturday, September 8, 2007, Evergreen Chorus joined the Roosevelt High School "First Ladies" during Hyde Park Day festivities. Although the day was very hot and humid, no one's spirits were dampened. This event was free and open to the public. On Thursday, September 6, 2007 – Evergreen Chorus performed for twenty minutes at the Dutchess County Girls Scouts' Seat of Honor Dinner and Awards Celebration at Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel. One of our members, Pat Fleming, was also recognized for her involvement with the Girl Scouts.. We understand the attendees were very positively impressed and we hope to be involved in similar events again in the future! On Saturday, August 18, 2007 Evergreen Chorus was invited to sing at Nancy Cozean's Ice Cream Social. It was a lovely event, Nancy even sang with us on one song and and we were all treated to Ice Cream Sundays after we sang!On Saturday, August 11, 2007 the World Peace Organization (affiliated with the UN) honored EVERGREEN CHORUS as members of Sweet Adelines International during their "A Call to Peace Festival" held at the World Peace Sanctuary in Amenia.
Community elders were honored, as were all the States, and Territories of the USA, and all the nations and indigenous people of the world. The ceremony consisted of a ‘Parade of Flags’ where flags from every nation were presented, followed by the prayer "May Peace Prevail on Earth". The event began at eleven am and on a picture perfect day. Evergreen Chorus sang God Bless The USA.

On Wednesday, August 1st, Xclamation! performed at a Music Festival sponsored by the Dutchess County Office of the Aged at Bodoin Park in Wappingers Falls. Two members of After Hours quartet filled in for the event, and we all had fun!
Evergreen Chorus sang the national anthem at the Hudson Valley Renegades Baseball Game at Dutchess Stadium - 1500 Route 9D, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 on Saturday, July 28, 2007. We had a wonderful time. We even have photos!
On Saturday, July 21, 2007 from about 3:30 to 5 PM, two of Evergreen Chorus' Quartets; Xclamation! and After Hours performed for the 160th Anniversary Celebration of The Childrens Home of Poughkeepsie, located at 10 Childrens Way, Poughkeepsie, NY - off Fulton Ave 1/2 mile from Marist College. Events included a petting zoo, band, rock climbing and bouncing around in a kid fun house. Later that day,the Evergreen Chorus of Sweet Adelines International performed for the Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce's Balloon Festival at Waryas Park, Poughkeepsie. Although it was too windy to launch balloons, a good time was had by all!
On Tuesday, June 19, hilarity reigned at the Poughkeepsie Methodist Church, where the Evergreen Chorus of Sweet Adelines International held their bi-annual Crazy Disorganized Quartet Contest. This event is designed to promote the joy of singing in a ladies barbershop quartet. As the name suggests, disorganization is the key. The contestentants wear outlandish costumes, sing alternate lyrics to songs, create "interesting" choreography, and, most of the women sing a voice part they don't sing in the chorus.
There were eight quartets in this year's contest, sporting the creative names of The Bling Sisters, Clueless, Promising Promises, The Blues Sisters, The Blush Is Off the Bloom, The Ladies, K-9 Konection, and Family Feud. The "Fem-Cee," who introduced each quartet, was Lisa Mc Vey. Click here to see our special photo page.
The judges were Jim Cramer, Greg Howard, Butch Ashdown, and John Hadigan, personnel of Swing Shift Quartet. The men in this quartet are members of the Poughkeepsie Newyorkers Chorus. Last year, Swing Shift won the Yankee Division Championship, and they rank in the top ten in the entire Northeast District.
The first place winner this year was K-9 Konnection, who were costumed as dogs complete with tails, and sang a medley of the Oscar Meyer Weiner song and There Ain't No Bugs On Me. Members of this blue ribbon quartet were Barbara Brennan of Saugerties, Robin Critelli of New Paltz, Laura Groeters of Olivebridge, and Sue Hannan of Cornwall.
Following the competition, members, judges and guests were treated to a plethora of refreshments and were entertained by Swing Shift Quartet, and three Evergreen quartets: After Hours, Good Times, and Xclamation!
The Evergreen Chorus meets Tuesday nights at 7 PM at the Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church, 2381 New Hackensack Road, Poughkeepsie. Women singers are always welcome.
On Tuesday, May 22nd, Evergreen Chorus had an OPEN HOUSE rehearsal. The "First Ladies", members of the Roosevelt HS young women's barbershop a cappella group joined us and entertained . We had a group of women who sing attend and we taught a short barbershop song to give them first hand experience at singing barbershop style music. If you were unable to come on the 22nd, but are interested in seeing if our type of music is for you, come out to one of our rehearsals. You are always welcome!
On Saturday, May 19th, Evergreen Chorus of Sweet Adelines International had a booth at the 95th Anniversary of the Girl Scouts. The event was held at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds at Red Hook and hundreds of Girlscouts and their parents and Troop Leaders were in attendance. We spoke about Evergreen and Sweet Adelines and taught and sang Sweet Adeline Tags in the Arts and Heritage Area (Building D) from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Then at 3:30 p.m. Evergreen performed outdoors to a crowd who braved the chill to cheer us on. We had a wonderful time and gave many young girls the opportunity to sing with us. See our Photo Gallery
At 7:30pm on Saturday, May 19th, Evergreen Chorus of Sweet Adelines International performed for the Freedom Plains Presbyterian Women's Group at Lagrangeville, NY on Route 55 across from Arlington High School. On Saturday, May 12th, Evergreen Chorus had its third annual Karaoke/Spaghetti Night at the Dutchess Boat Club in Beacon---Long Dock Road. Festivities began at 6PM. We had a BLAST.. and got to hear some very talented singers. See our Photo Gallery
On Saturday, April 14, 2007, Evergreen Chorus competed against choruses from New York and New Jersey in the Region 15 Annual Chorus Competition, Celebrate the Sound. Evergreen performed two songs and was judged in four categories, Music, Sound, Expression and Showmanship. Evergreen is the new Region 15 Fourth Place chorus and Third Place Division AA winners. On Friday, April 13, 2007, Two of Evergreen's quartets; After Hours and Xclamation!, competed against 18 other quartets at the Region 15 Annual Quartet Competition, held at the Sheraton Philadelphia City Center, Philadelphia, PA. We are proud to report that Xclamation! quartet received Third Place medals in Region 15's 2007 Quartet competition.
On Tuesday, April 10, 2007, the Evergreen Chorus had a free performance for "Friends and Family" just before the regional competition. This performance was held at Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church on Route 376, and was a combination psych-up Dress Rehearsal performance, and thank you to friends and family; to show them why their loved-ones have been rehearsing all the time... Evergreen Chorus performed a short program of songs, including their two contest songs, and each of the competing quartets (Xclamation! and After Hours) also performed their competition packages.
On Sunday, March 11, 2007, the Evergreen Chorus performed for local senior audiences. From 2:30-3:00pm Evergreen sang for residents at he Eden Park Nursing Home on Franklin Street in Poughkeepsie. Then, at 4:00pm, Evergreen Chorus performed at the Manor at Woodside, located at 6 Academy Street, Poughkeepsie, NY. Both performances were free and open to the public.
At 2:30 pm Saturday February 10, 2007; the Evergreen Chorus of Sweet Adelines International performed at two shops on Main Street in Rosendale at the Second Annual Rosendale "LoveFest". Refer to the press release noted below.
The Beatles sang, “All you need is Love, Love, Love…” and Rosendale is answering the call with the second annual LoveFest on Saturday, February 10, noon to night. It’s a modern day celebration of “Universal Love” with throw backs to the 60’s. Rosendale, a charming village has a Victorian flavor and remnants of its former fame as the cement capital of the United States. It has become an artist haven and what better venue than upcoming Valentine’s Day to share music, arts, and crafts, and family fun. NO ADMISSION CHARGE.
Love is universal, and this year’s theme encompasses all kinds of love. Children and adults will enjoy making valentines, playing Valentine games, and having their photos taken at the Kissing Booth or perhaps with a favorite pet after a visit to Planet Pet Grooming. Pictures will be published on the web with awards for the cutest, funniest, most romantic and more. The universal tradition of showing love through the giving of food will be take place with fondue tasting, chocolates, and valentine cookies, and other goodies. Festivities begin at noon and run until midnight. The LoveFest includes Activities for Children & Adults Crafts Fairs, Art shows, Lectures, Poetry, Drama, and Live Music. On Saturday December 16, 2006 around 7pm, we sang Christmas Carols at a fantastic life-sized cartoon character holiday display in Marlborough, NY - at 60 Pleasant View Drive. On Friday Morning December 15, 2006, one of our chapter quartets - After Hours - performed on Joe's Daily Holiday Concerts on 92.1 Lite FM. On Sunday December 3, 2006, the Evergreen Chorus sang Holiday songs at the Town of Wappingers tree lighting ceremony held at Schlathaus Park. After Hours Quartet also sang, and Santa arrived by fire engine and handed out presents to the kids!

On Saturday October 28, 2006 and Sunday, 29, 2006 Evergreen Chorus presented our 2006 Annual Show - I Believe in Music. The Evergreen Chorus performed a variety of familiar songs sung in barbershop style. Joe Daily from 92.1 Lite FM was our MC, and the Hudson Valley Youth Chorale under the direction of Barbara Pickhardt were our high-energy Guest Performers. Chorus quartets and an octet performed songs from Jazz to Rock to suit everyone's musical preferences! On Wednesday October 25, 2006, members of the Evergreen Chorus were guests on 92.1FM - Joe Daily' s Morning Show. We sang and talked about upcoming Show - I Believe in Music. Joe is our MC for the Shows at 3PM October 28th and 29th.
On Saturday, October 14, 2006, the Evergreen Chorus performed at Delta Kappa Gamma Society International's Eastern Area Conference, held at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburg, NY. We performed at both sessions of their Saturday Morning Spa - A Celebration of the Senses. Carole Argulewicz, director of Evergreen Chorus, is a teacher and member of the Alpha chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. She presented a wonderful workshop about proper singing - using Evergreen to demonstrate the techniques! She also spoke about Sweet Adelines International and Women's Barbershop Harmony, in general. I am proud to report that according to those attending the conference, we got an "A"!

On Sunday September 17, 2006, Evergreen Chorus sang at the Plattekill Days festivities on a picture-perfect day.
Plattekill's Thomas Felten Community Park, on Route 32 was the site for a wide variety of events, including a car show, tractor pull, Haunted House, free hayrides, and a number of stage shows including Evergreen Chorus of Sweet Adelines, International, Swing Shift (a barbership quartet), a Magician and the first ever Plattekill Idol contest.On Friday and Saturday, Sept 15-16th, 2006; Members of Evergreen chorus participated in a regional educational meeting held in New Brunswick, NJ. Members who attended had a wonderful time, learning the craft of barbershiop harmony, singing in regional choruses and learning everthing from Singing to MC-ing to choreography!

We also have two members of our Award-winning Xclamation! quartet who will be competing at the 2006 Sweet Adelines International Competition in Las Vegs during the week of October 9th, 2006. On Sunday, August 13, 2006 at 4:00 pm, we sang the National Anthem at the Renegades baseball game. Our performance was included in the price of the ticket!
