Evergreen is a chorus of women of all ages, singing a cappella four-part harmony.   With roots in the uniquely American art form of Barbershop Harmony, the Evergreen Chorus excites every listener, performing timeless classics, jazz and blues, show tunes, and contemporary songs!

Evergreen Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, and we meet regularly to practice, socialize, & perform a cappella harmony in the barbershop style.

Evergreen rehearses in Poughkeepsie, NY and performs for groups and organizations all over northeastern New York State.   Members come from Dutchess, Ulster and Orange Counties, and we are part of Greater New York Region 15.

Evergreen has received accolades and awards at Regional competitions, and has delighted audiences across the Hudson Valley.  We strive to educate and encourage women to develop their musical skills, and we welcome all women who enjoy singing and dancing to visit or join us.
